Computer MIDI Keyboard. For this, the Computer MIDI Keyboard button in the top right corner of Live needs to be turned on. Up to Live 9, it's on by default. If it's not, you can turn it on with a click. From Live 10, it's now off by default. To turn it on, either click on the icon or press the M key.

- .This problem was not solved, I ended up returning my new computer to the store. For anyone who wants to run ableton as smooth as possible, here are the requirements and tips that I’ve gotten from this sub and Ableton’s official page: i7 or i9 intel core -4 or more cores. Gear Addict
I'm long time Pro Tools user looking to adapt to the cool kids and start learning/using Ableton.
Given that I own good 3rd party samplers (Komplete etc), processing plugs, drum libraries, etc, is there anything in the Ableton Live 9 Suite worth owning vs just the Standard package? It's not a ton of extra money to spring for it, but if it's nothing I'd use given what I already have, there's no point obviously.
This would be for studio, not live, applications.
Thanks!
